Femdom with heart and mind
Lady Sas and Lady Victoria are among the best-known voices in the German-speaking femdom community. With their blog Lady-Sas.com For years, they have been offering inspiration, enlightenment, and honest insights into a multifaceted world beyond clichés. In this interview, they share their personal paths to the femdom role, offer insight into typical beginner mistakes, and talk about power, misunderstandings—and the power of humor.
How did your personal path to becoming a Femdom expert develop – was there a key moment that inspired you to found Lady Sas?
Lady Victoria: I was always curious about the many facets of sexuality and scoured the internet for new variations. The topic of fetish and femdom immediately fascinated me. I landed on Saskia's website, which offers extensive information for dominant women and submissive men, and eventually contacted her. Saskia took me under her wing, and I was able to explore things in a safe environment. I soon got a taste for it. The chemistry was so good that today we are Lady-Sas.com together. I would like to emphasize that Saskia and I are purely private femdoms. We are not professional dominatrixes, and we do not offer paid sessions. We both work. Our project is a side project in our free time.
Lady Sas: Unfortunately, my development as a Mistress was less than pleasant. I was faced with the ruins of my marriage and had two options: complain and withdraw – or attack again out of curiosity and be brave. At the time, I was completely new to the Femdom scene and had many questions. I knew there were professional Dominas who could easily answer my questions. But why should a Domina take the time to answer my questions? That's when I came up with the idea of packaging my questions as an interview for a Femdom blog. Eventually, my questions were answered, but my curiosity remained. It was always exciting to learn from the perspective of a strong woman and hear her story. We now have a three-digit number of interviews with great Tops and Subs from all over the world on the website – from Hanover to Hong Kong, from Munich to Los Angeles. Among them are some world-famous stars of the scene – but also purely private Mistresses and Subs.
What role does humor play in your femdom approach?
Lady Sas: I think I speak for both of us when I say that we enjoy having fun with a sub during a session. We take femdom fun seriously, but not too seriously. Ultimately, we're all just human and want to have a good time. If we can laugh together while we do it—great.
You give a lot of tips for beginners in the BDSM world. What do you think are the most common misconceptions newbies face?
Lady Victoria: Women tend to want to please their man. Anyone starting out as a Femdom must first consciously free themselves from such notions and realize: Here, I really am the first priority – and the sub only second. On the other hand, male subs often feel like they have to coach their Mistress and engage in topping from the bottom. Another very common cliché is that as a Mistress, you're not allowed to have sex with your sub. What nonsense! As a Mistress, you can do whatever you want – within the framework of the agreement, of course, and observing the taboos, that's clear.
Lady Sas: A very common misconception among new femdoms is that they have to constantly do something during the session. Many think the session is a kind of show in which they have to constantly provide action. This quickly leads to hecticness and stress. Heavens, what am I supposed to do? – I recommend simply doing nothing and observing what happens. Surprise: The world isn't ending. The sub waits obediently and patiently for the Mistress's next command, that's all. As a Femdom, you can always remain completely relaxed and calmly plan the next step. But you have to understand this first and try it out in practice.
How do you think the BDSM community has changed in recent years, especially with regard to the visibility and acceptance of femdom practices?
Lady Sas: We've noticed that society has become more open to the topic of femdom. It's cool to be a strong, dominant woman. Female empowerment is in. The visibility of professional mistresses has increased significantly, especially on social media. Of course, there are also downsides. Let's put it this way: Not all BDSM practitioners are confident and friendly. Some insist that BDSM has to be exactly the way they want it. If someone sees it differently, they are aggressively attacked. That's a shame. We repeatedly emphasize that there is no law that regulates BDSM in a binding way. Everyone should live out their lives the way they want. We simply show possibilities and inspire people to follow their own path. But we don't make laws; that's not our approach.
What was your funniest or most absurd moment in a femdom dynamic?
Lady Victoria: I once saw a submissive in a penis cage that had compressed his penis extremely flat. It actually looked as if he no longer had a penis. I saw the round metal plate and his testicles underneath, but no penis. I was quite perplexed and just thought to myself: Hey, what's going on here? Where's his penis? When I opened the cage later, the mystery was quickly solved.
Lady Sas: I find it funny when I receive emails from subs who address me as "venerable Lady Sas." I may be many things, but I'm not "venerable." That sounds really old-school.
You have an extensive blog with many resources. What topics are particularly important to you when it comes to BDSM education?
Lady Sas: Our central theme is getting started in the BDSM world. We want to inform and inspire our readers. We want to encourage strong women to embrace their dominant side. And we want to help male submissives find their role and enjoy it.
What is the true power of a femdom – voice, gaze or attitude?
Lady Sas: The true power of a femdom lies in the unfulfilled longing of the sub. A femdom only has power because the sub gives it to her. As a dominant woman, you must never forget that. Submissives therefore deserve our utmost respect. And of course, it's important to present a coherent image as a dominant woman. Voice, gaze, posture, outfit—all of this plays a role.
What can we expect from Lady Sas and Lady V in the future? Are there any projects or surprises your community can look forward to?
Lady Victoria: Of course, we'll be publishing more exciting interviews with tops and subs from all over the world, sharing more helpful guides and interesting testimonials, and hosting some private events again. We're really looking forward to it! It's going to be great.
