Lady Tara defines "erotic hypnosis" as follows:
"Erotic hypnosis is the state in which all cognitive processes (consciously) are put into the background in order to influence the subconscious. Erotic hypnosis has two main goals: on the one hand, penetrating (and influencing) the cognitive pleasure center, and on the other hand, generating erotic, lucid dreams. Both can also occur in combination."

Interview with Lady Tara about “Erotic Hypnosis”
Tara, what is the most typical reaction when you tell people what you do for a living?
Tara: To be honest: People are first surprised, but then also very curious. Many only know hypnosis from television or topics like z.B. smoking cessation. However, very few have ever heard of erotic hypnosis. Unfortunately, many still have a very false image of hypnosis, but they also want to know what it’s all about.
Explain erotic hypnosis to us in a way that even the toughest skeptic becomes curious.
Tara: Curiosity arises – as I have already said – in everyone."No matter if they are skeptics or if they already have experience with hypnosis. The challenge is to remove the still incorrect image of hypnosis from people's minds. Especially the "skeptics" think that hypnosis is something magical like mind control that they have seen on TV – and of course, such people (according to their own statements) could never be hypnotized.
However, every person is in a kind of hypnotic state every day. For example, when reading an exciting (perhaps erotic) novel. It is simply a deep concentration where one is aware of everything but consciously ignores it. As a hypnotist, I can gain access to subconscious processes and, for example, trigger an orgasm. in the listener without them having to touch themselves. Only through my words.
You have been active since 2012 according to the website.What was the trigger back then and what did version 1.0 look like?
Tara: In fact, it was a very spontaneous idea that I had back then with my colleague Fred – who still runs the site with me. We saw that there were dominatrices in the USA who offered corresponding recordings as "hypnosis dominatrices." I had already made my money with hypnosis at that time, and Fred was a specialist in web marketing and had a small hobby recording studio. Additionally, we had both been involved in the Kinky scene privately for a long time. So we started the whole thing as a "fun project."
The first three recordings back then were "A Day as a Woman," "An Orgasm through Listening," and "Seven Days without Orgasm." That we would receive several Venus Awards for our work a few years later, we would not have believed anyone back then.
You have received several Venus Awards (2015, 2019, 2022). What has changed specifically due to these awards?
Tara: In fact, not much has changed. Except that we have, of course, become more well-known and have met many people from this scene. In the meantime, I also write hypnosis scripts for many actresses or dominatrices – like z.B. Ruby June or Marie Willes – so that they can provide these to their fans. Oh, and of course, we have also received more interview requests since then than from you.
Was there a moment when you almost gave up? What happened, why did you stick with it?
Tara: Yes, there have been and unfortunately still are those moments. On the one hand, there is the incredibly challenging German legislation.Youth protection and data protection are very exhausting. Especially when working with external service providers, one sometimes wonders to what extent they still live – sexually speaking – in the Middle Ages. Especially US companies are truly afraid to collaborate with someone who offers something erotic. We know this from Facebook: Hate and violence are acceptable – but a woman's bare nipples are unforgivable.
What actually brings us to our limits are hackers and thieves. Unfortunately, there are always filesharers or people trying to hack us to put our content online for free. They do not realize that from the 35 euros that a hypnosis session costs, we have to give about half to the state and from the rest, we have to pay two employees, cover our ongoing costs, and also fill our refrigerator. I have often been at the point of just giving it up.
The only thing that holds me back are actually the reactions of our fans. It simply feels good to read how we can fulfill people's most intimate desires that they might never be able to live out in normal life. Feel free to read the reviews on our page – they are all completely genuine.
What are your top 5 fantasy themes that always work?
Tara: Phew… the beautiful thing is that the world of sexuality is so wonderfully colorful and diverse. But themes like orgasm control, feminization, and cuckolding are always in high demand with us. The topic of ASMR eroticism is also very popular, and we are the only ones who truly combine ASMR and hypnosis, allowing us to create very intense scenarios. Where do you draw the line with content, even if there is demand?
Tara: Clearly at everything illegal and dehumanizing. I believe I don't need to list specific things. Anyone with common sense knows what I mean.
What is also out of the question for us is so-called “FinDom”, or Financial Domination. While we do have hypnosis sessions in which the listener can experience “blackmailing and findom”, it is only as a fantasy and lifelike dream – without ever really being at risk of having to give their finances to a Mistress.

What happens in your view in the mind that makes some people experience it as extremely real?
Tara: It is essentially the same as having an absolutely lifelike dream.Surely many people know this feeling of waking up in the morning and for a few minutes not knowing whether what was just dreamed was really real or not. It is exactly the same with our hypnosis stories. One has the feeling that it is really real. And since our brain essentially stores every memory in the same place, it really feels "real" and "genuine" afterwards.
What role does the ability to fantasize play and how can it be trained?
Tara: I believe that every person is capable of imagination. However, with our hypnosis sessions, it often takes a few attempts before it really works. The first time, most people are simply too "excited," wanting to truly understand what is happening and to catch everything. Often they listen to the hypnosis, find it nice and relaxing, but there was not the hoped-for reaction.
On the second time, people are already more relaxed and often enter a light trance... and when they hear it for the third or fourth time, it suddenly clicks, and they fully immerse themselves in the experience, often surprised at how extremely well it works. However, I want to emphasize one thing at this point. Hypnosis only works if you want it to. I cannot hypnotize anyone against their will. For example, if you, as a heterosexual man, listen to my hypnosis "Gay for a Day," it will not work. Simply because your own subconscious will protect you and say: "No, I am not gay."
But if there is a corresponding inclination hidden deep within you, then I can open all the doors through such hypnosis that ensure you only think about men.One cannot hypnotize someone to do something they do not (subconsciously) truly want.
Lady Tara, you are regularly at the legendary swinger club INSOMNIA Berlin – what can one expect from a hypnosis sex party there?
Tara: Yes, we have been there for a few years after meeting the owners of Insomnia at the Venus Fair. Each party unfolds differently here, depending on our guests, just like at any other fetish party. Generally, it is a party and not a show.
We essentially put our guests into a group trance at the beginning of the party, inducing a state of hypnosis, and ensure that everyone can leave their inhibitions outside of Insomnia and fully embrace their own sexuality. Then we turn up the music and let the evening flow freely.What has often led to very "wild" evenings.
In general, we also offer individual guests the opportunity to be hypnotized individually or have already had group hypnosis only for women, in which we brought them to orgasm through hypnosis.
What will be bigger for you next: audio series, ASMR, live or completely new formats?
Tara: Here I really dare to make a prediction. ASMR is a big topic and we are constantly expanding our portfolio of ASMR hypnosis. We are considering expanding our party series from Berlin to all of Germany, and I myself am also working on creating more erotic hypnosis in the area of "life improvement." So helping people through erotic hypnosis to lose weight, quit smoking and simply become "more erotic" for the same sex.
Oh... and I also make music myself. For example, I wrote a song on the topic of ASMR. But I admit that it's more of a hobby and I probably won't win a Grammy. But who knows... maybe a Venus Award is waiting for us someday.

Tara: Orgasm control. Clearly. I love it – not just professionally – when I can bring my partner to orgasm with just a few words and a snap.
